Milwaukee – As of July 2, Express Label will change its name to Vibrant Graphics.  The name change is the result of new technology that has been added to their array of digital printing capabilities.  According to Bob Travis, General Manager of Vibrant, "Its not that we are no longer fast (referring the change from Express), in fact our new printing capabilities will enhance our ability to turn products around quickly, but the real value of our HP Indigo press is the ability to produce extremely high visual impact labels and graphics in low and medium volumes with very low setup costs." 

 

"Digital printing is quickly replacing conventional printing in many markets" according to Travis, "when companies discover they can produce highly targeted product labels and decals at a reasonable cost, without creating excess inventory, the marketing opportunities are endless."  Examples of products that use digital labels are:  specialty food and beverage products, seasonal products, co-branded products and in-mold labels.  In addition to labels and decals, Vibrant also produces a wide range of point-of-purchase graphics, including floor graphics, shelf talkers and promotional stickers.  "Our products can help any company enhance their product's identity and help them target potential customers more precisely."
